Seize all assets (bank accounts, homes, cars, etc.) of anyone who has signed a petition promoting secession from the Union, and use those assets to reduce the national debt. The government has frequently seized the assets of drug traffickers. The same should be done with any United States citizen who signs a petition supporting treason against the United States, such as the recent ‘We the People’ petition promoting secession from the Union. Taking this action would help reduce the national debt, and could provide useful work for DEA employees in states that have legalized recreational marijuana use.
