Sell Hawaii to China for the $1.4 Trillion we owe them.

To help bring down our debt, we suggest that the US government "sell" Hawaii to China for 1.4 Trillion, the amount we owe them. This is effectively giving Hawaii to China for forgiveness of our debt to them.
Residents would be given the option to relocate to the continental USA or be granted dual citizenship if they stay. US citizens would still be able to vacation to Hawaii, they would simply need to obtain a passport similar to going to Canada, Mexico, or Europe.
Hawaii's yearly output to the US is nearly $50 billion per year and China would have stronger presence in the Pacific.
This trade could also foster more positive relations between the two nations. Good relations with China in our current global atmosphere can be seen as a safeguard against aggressive actions with them.
