Sell those states which receive more in federal funding than they provide in taxes as a means to balance the budget.

Created by M.D. on November 12, 2012

It has come to our attention that this nation has significant amounts of underperforming assets - specifically, ones that cost more money to administer than they produce - and so, in an attempt to reduce the outflow of money and thereby help step the tide of red ink that has been producing catastrophic deficits, these underperforming assets should be sold to the highest bidder.

Some of these assets include: Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee, Louisiana, Alabama, and Hawaii.

I believe going through with this sale of the ten or fifteen worst-performing assets can return this country to solvency in a short time.
