Semi Annual Background checks and Drug Testing for all Federal Elected Members of Congress and the Supreme Court.

To keep Congress honest, Federal elected officials must undergo semi-annual background checks and drug tests.These tests will be performed by an independent group. If a member fails they are to undergo additional testing out of their own pocket and not from the tax payers. If the members fail they should refrain from voting or submitting any form of bills on the floor from the President to members of Congress. When elected officials demand drugs testing for low income citizens because they receive tax payers dollars,so should any "including" Federal elected members of the Senate and The House. Members salaries are paid in tax dollars. Mental and drug dependence can cause error in judgement which can cause failure to perform due diligence. Background checks provide transparency and honesty.
