The Multirotor Builders Association petition the senate committee to consider a different option than having all drones over 4.4 pounds certified. We think this bill was created in haste and will seriously damage the advancement of drone builders. If you limit the builder this way then it's going to cause waste and loss of time considerably if not completely.
If this bill passes, and the drone does not pass certification, then the builder has wasted time and money which will waste resources. The solution I propose to have the builder becomes certified to build, fly and test multirotors.
If a bill like this must be passed this is my recommendation
