We the people ask the federal government to Take or explain a position on an issue or policy:

THE SENATE MUST DO ITS CONSTITUTIONAL DUTY TO APPROVE SUPREME COURT NOMINEE JUDGE MERRICK GARLAND NOW !

Created by R.H. on May 07, 2016

We could restore a sensible system of government if it were accepted that the Senate has an obligation to act on nominations in a reasonable period of time. Do they know that the delay is futile and that the President would be force to appoint Judge Merrick Garland if they do not give advice and consent on a timely basis so that our government can function?
The Senator who denies the existence of the urgent nature of their constitutional duty, to make sure that our check and balance system is at its peak of readiness; in times of challenges for the nation. They do not care about the very people that voted them into office; thus I urge the people as a measure of their irresponsibility to relieve them of their incumbency. They are playing politics with our Justice system.
