The Senate Judiciary Committee must refer Supreme Court appointees to the Senate floor for an up/down vote. If they don't do that they are failing to do the job for which they were hired. It has been over three months since President Obama nominated Judge Merrick Garland, and nothing has been done at all by the Committee or the Senate. This is unacceptable. If the members of the committee are not going to do their jobs, they need to be removed from office.
