Send aid to the Syrian people, send aid to the Free Syrian Army, and if possible, help to topple the regime and Assad.

This is a petition to help the Syrian people in need of aid, to help stop the fighting, and to help topple the regime. People are being killed by the hundreds every day, and even before the fighting broke out, people who even whispered a word against the government were carted away and tortured to death. This petition is an appeal to the basic human decency in everybody. I can't imagine anybody who is not horrified by the bloodshed that is taking place in Syria. Scores of children are dying. Whole families are being slaughtered. Aleppo, Damascus, and other cities in Syria are in shambles from the fighting. I watched one heartbreaking video of a little boy crying over his dead father and asking him to wake up. We can't stand by and just watch this happen; Syrians are people too.
