We now find states, cities, counties writing local laws that disenfranchise people. The number of voting machines varies from place to place, the times are different even in one state, the dates for early voting change year to year, all this is done to eliminate certain voters. It is time for the country to pass a bill that standardizes and enumerates the rules for voting so that every citizen can vote and knows when and where and what to bring so that their vote is really counted and not just a paper ballot that is later rejected.
