Dr. Neal Degrasse Tyson, one of the most prominent scientific icons of our time, is a living embodiment of the American dream. As such, it would be a sign of good faith from the United States Government to reward Dr. Tyson for his efforts and accomplishments. Such an action may inspire more youth to pursue careers in the sciences, while simultaneously reinforcing the promise that in America, hard work and dedication is to be rewarded with the fulfilment of the desires of that individual.
