send to Congress a Constitutional Amendment to repeal the 2nd Amendment provision to keep and bear arms.

Many possible gun control proposals are subject to being found unconstitutional due to the 2nd Amendment. To make real change happen we must be willing to discuss repealing the right to keep and bear arms provisions of the 2nd Amendment. It is how we can enact laws that we can trust will survive constitutional challenge. Right now, the 2nd Amendment essentially says that a person's right to own guns trumps the right of other persons to live without fear of dying, or of their child dying, at the hands of a mentally ill person who has a gun.
