Send a Constitutional Amendment to Congress, declaring that money is not speech.

Created by M.K. on April 04, 2014

The Supreme Court has ruled that money is speech. This allows the richest 0.01% to have the loudest voice. This also allows Members of Congress and Senators to only care about what this very small minority of people has to say.

In order to restore order back to the government, a clear line needs to be drawn that separates money and speech. The only way that this can be done and remain permanent is for the Constitution to be amended to declare that money is not the same as speech.

Sending an amendment to the House and the Senate that separates money from speech will give every American the opportunity to see where their Senator and Congressional Representative stand on this. And if it passes it will be good for the whole system. If not states can begin ratifying conventions.
