Send defensive weapons to Ukraine

Use the authorization Congress provided and send defensive weapons to Ukraine. Putin has publicly admitted Russia's role in the annexation of Crimea and his support for the use of Russia's nuclear arsenal in that conflict. The same "little green men" that were present in Crimea during the U.N. condemned referendum on independence are reported in eastern Ukraine supporting the separatists. No rational person wants to see a return to the cold war, however it is not acceptable to allow Russia to trample on agreements it signed such as the Budapest Memorandum. They hold veto power preventing the U.N. security council from taking action. The United States needs to do what it can to support the rule of law in eastern Europe by sending defensive weapons to Ukraine as soon as possible.
