The best and brightest have long been at NASA. I see no reason why Deray McKesson and Colin Kaepernick, 2 bright young men, are not made astronauts and sent to Mars.
Clearly their dedication to their mission, no matter how insane, or how many lives lost prior is commendable.
Shoot them to Mars! They can do it.
