Trayvon Martin was shot on 2/26/12. He was completely unarmed and was only holding a bag of Skittles and a can of Arizona Iced Tea. He was walking down his street when he felt he was being followed. He was, by a man named George Zimmerman. Zimmerman then called the Sanford police to report suspicious activity. He then confronted Martin and shot him, claiming self-defense. He was taken in for one night and then released. I believe this is racism and that this is an abuse of a law passed here in Florida. I would like the investigation taken over by the FBI.
