Mexico has had plenty of time to release the United States citizen and Marine veteran Jon Hammar from their prison, but has failed to do so. As a Marine veteran myself, I remember very clearly the Marine saying that we never leave one of our own behind, so Mr. President, please allow Marines to go after one of their own. Don't leave this American citizen to rot in some third-world prison while you get to spend the holidays with your family. I'm sure there are thousands of Marines who would voluntarily lead a force to rescue one of their own.
