We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Send the National Guard to protect the rights of the Indigenous People in Morton County, North Dakota.

Created by W.P. on November 07, 2016

The Morton County, ND Sheriff's Office is drawing in reinforcements from at least as far away as Indiana ( http://bit.ly/2eug603 ) . This makes this an interstate issue, rather than merely a local issue. The tribal treaty rights of the local people are being violated. The Sheriff's local personnel and the out-of-State reinforcements are making use of military-grade supplies that have been provided to them by U.S. Government agencies. It is time for the U.S. Government to step in and protect the local tribespeople who, remarkably, are continuing to pursue non-violent approaches to resolving this conflict and are being met with increasingly violent "law enforcement" attacks.
