There are many petitions here that demand the refusal of entry to syrian refugees into the US, due to the risk of infiltration by Daesh. Given the event in Paris, this is a real concern. However, I feel an obligation to assist those who wish to escape a place which is endangering their lives. We should accept Syrian refugees. However, we can't simply take in refugees and hope that Daesh goes away. We need to stop and reverse the flow of refugees, by defeating Daesh, and Assad. This will require ground troops. Instead of forcing Syrians to give up their homeland, why not enable them to take it back from those who are destroying it? Send troops, with armed Syrians within their ranks. A Syrian father will fight hard to reclaim his home for his family.
