The White House has chosen to send, as representatives of the United States of America, Joe Biden and Nancy Pelosi to Rome for the Inaugural Mass for Pope Francis on March 19, 2013.
This is an insult to Pope Francis and a scandal to Catholics in the United States to send those who are abortion promoters and supporters of homosexual "marriage". Roman Catholic teaching is clear and unambiguous. If a Catholic supports or promotes intrinsic evil, and continues to do so after having been informed of its sinfulness, they are not to receive Holy Communion and possibly face formal Excommunication.
Please send John Boehner and Paul Ryan, both true Roman Catholics, out of respect for the Holy Father and so as to not cause further scandal.
