Send Paul Ryan and John Boehner to the Vaticanto meet with Pope Francis, not because some claim that they are "true" Catholics, but because they need to learn the actual Catholic Social Teachings, most importantly, justice for the poor and oppressed in our society and throughout the world.
The concept of "rugged individualism" espoused by these Republicans is incongruent to the social teachinga of Catholic Christianity.
