Brendan Tevlin was killed by Ali Muhammad Brown in Livingston, New Jersey in June. When questioned, Brown said the murder was in response to US actions in the Middle East. A public statement by the president in Tevlin's honor would send a strong message to those who would intend to hurt Americans on our soil in the name of extremism.
