Senior Advantage Roth Conversion from a Traditional IRA for Seniors 65 or older.

Created by R.B. on January 22, 2013

Allow seniors 65 and older to make the conversion from a traditional IRA to a Senior Advantage Roth at a tax rate of 7 % payable over 5 years.
This would provide increased revenues to the general fund now and help reduce the deficit now.
Seniors would benefit by providing them with tax free distributions from the Senior Advantage Roth in later years for expensive medical expenses or for assisted living expenses either at home or in a facility at a time when they least could afford to pay the taxes on a large withdrawal from a traditional IRA.
