We want the funds collected for Social Security System to be removed from the General Fund and protected against borrowing, reappropriation or any other action that would take those funds out of the system. We also want all the funds borrowed from the Social Security System to be repaid within 10 years by making a mandatory contribution from the General Fund each year of 10% of the total amount borrowed. We want the Social Security System to return to paying only for retirement benefits, survivor benefits (spouse only), and disability benefits.
