separate New York City from Upstate New York making NYC its own district.

As it has become painfully clear that the values of NYC clearly do not reflect that of the rest of New York State it has become clear that the time has come to separate the five boroughs (Staten Island, Queens, Manhattan, the Bronx, and Brooklyn) including Long Island, from Upstate New York which for the purpose of this petition includes all parts of New York not listed above. Recent polls have shown that roughly two thirds of New York State favor the split. We ask for serious consideration by the Obama administration for this petition.
