Separate the religious act of marriage from the state.

Created by T.I. on December 10, 2012

Marriage is a religious union that should have never been allowed to be acknowledged by our United States governement. In the spirit of separating church and state, we now should remove the church union of marriage from our counties recognition.

This removal effects other changes in our country such as income taxes, but these consequential changes should not deter this needed removal. Separating the church from our states is a foundational platform that makes our country unique and great.

May we continue to allow marriage to occur within religions, but remove all married status from our country.
