Separation from church from state during our election process.

Created by K.C. on November 13, 2012

I propose that in order to insure a real separation of Church and State, that a tax law be put into effect stating that if a Pastor, or preacher or any leader of any church or religious organization, uses his or her position in the church to assist a candidate to run for a political office that, that church losses their tax exempt status for ten years and the pastor permanently. If that Pastor becomes the head of another church that church shall loose it tax exempt status so long as the pastor remains head of that church or religious organization. In order for the original church to get their tax exempt status back after 10 years have passed they must apply through the IRS providing proof that they have not broken the Separation of Church and state laws.
