The separation of Northern California and Southern California.

This petition will address the issue of separating Northern and Southern California politically. The majority of both sections highly disagree on large political issues and would serve the people in each half of the state a good deal to be split. The largely democratic Southern California has very different views of how wildlife should be managed and how the money brought in by the state should be spent. Where as Northern California has smaller liberal populations that don't push for such invasion of civil liberties including gun ownership, hunting rights and many more. It's a constant battle between the two halves or the top third and bottom two thirds of the state on every important issue that comes up in politics; due to the overwhelming population of the south, the north is ignored
