Petition to Address the Budget Cuts Required by the Sequestration on March 1, 2013
Automatic, across-the-board budget cuts, known as the "sequestration", are set to take effect on March 1, 2013. These cuts will include support for the work of rank and file US Civil Servants and members of the US Armed Forces. Instead of cutting budgets supporting rank and file US Civil Servant employees in government agencies and members of the Armed Forces in order to meet the requirements to cut spending by the federal government, we the people of the urge the sequestration of all elected federal politicians salaries: the President, Vice-President, the cabinet and both Houses of Congress and their staffs until the matter is resolved for the good of the people of the United States of America.
