Extra Credits did several segments on incentivizing Congress such that quality of life for any given Congressman is linked to quality of life for any given American, on ideas to make sure Congress has fewer conflicts of interest and how to break government gridlock. They are short, informative, and while they are not the be-all and the end-all, and the solutions may or may not be the best solutions, it's a constructive look at serious problems.
This petition would simply be for the Obama administration to watch these videos, think carefully on the subject and hopefully act. Gridlock, the disconnect of congressman to public and conflicts of interest are serious problems in our government, and they should be fixed.
