- Defense Secretary: Ashton Carter, U.S. Marine Corps General John Kelly, U.S. Air Force General Doug Fraser
- Council of Economic Advisors chairman: Robert B. Reich, Alan B. Krueger
- U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations: Sean Meyer of the Union of Concerned Scientists)
- Secretary of the Interior: Al Gore, Maria Callejas (Union of Concerned Scientists)
- U.S. Secretary of Education: Randi Weingarten, Lee Cutler, or Elsie P. Burkhalter of AFT.
