seriously consider the legalization of the marijuana plant and all marijuana products.

Created by R.S. on March 07, 2013

When marijuana was outlawed by Federal law, the effects of it on a person's health were greatly exaggerated. At the VERY MOST, it cannot be considered more harmful than alcohol or tobacco, both of which are legal. This is evidenced by the Tashkin Study of 2006, deaths reported due to marijuana, and deaths as a result of alcohol and tobacco. By keeping marijuana illegal, you exasperate crime problems across the nation and flood America's prisons with people who have caused no harm of hardship to either themselves or others. It is not the job of the Federal Government to regulate morality, because people's morals differ. It is the job of the Federal Government to pass and enforce laws based on facts and pragmatism.
