Seriously look into energy opportunities from gasification of coal, and Liquid Fluoride Thorium Reactors (LFTRs).

Created by G.R. on November 12, 2012

One of the major problems facing the United States is energy independence. Right now we need to look to radical ideas that will pay off. Gasification of coal allows for such energy independence. Another is the creation of LFTRs, the future of the nuclear industry. The United States has made its name through innovation, and the adoption of new ideas and technologies. We should take that same track record, and pursue energy technologies that will allow us to be less reliant on unstable, unfriendly foreign nations abroad.

We, the undersigned, call upon the Obama Administration to pursue new and innovative ideas when it comes to American energy independence. If we do not take the proper steps now, we will be left with an uncertain future.
