I purpose we revamp the social security numbering system. Our social security numbers use an outdated numbering system that was developed in the 1900s. Once assigned this number it is impossible to change and once stolen, it’s in the public domain. The new system should have some type of virtual number that can easily be reassigned numbers just like our credit cards when they are lost or stolen.
