set up an app that would allow senators to poll the American people in real-time, involving them in government.

I don't know about anyone else, but there are about two or three times a year that I feel active in government. These are usually right before an election when I am bombarded with election papers, and other such things. Our representatives who are elected sometimes don't vote with our best interests at heart. I would like there to be a system where the numbers would be counted and with current app technology, this could happen. Maybe individuals pay a service fee that would allow them to actively participate in government and this either be affected into the lawmaking process or it be at least considered in the process. An app displaying the current law and where the people of a state stand displayed on a screen would make people stand up and become active participants. Just a thought.
