Set Bradley Manning free.

Created by N.D. on August 01, 2013

In 2007, U.S. soldiers in Iraq killed a team of Reuters reporters. The soldiers believed the reporters were insurgents- partly because a soldier believed a camera carried by the reporters was a rocket propelled grenade. With no warning to the reporters, the soldiers fired on them- killing some members of the group and injuring others. After the initial round of firing, a man in a van who taking his children to school drove up to the injured reporters to help, and the American soldiers fired on the van- killing one of the injured reporters and severely injuring the children inside!

For 3 years, the U.S. military lied about what happened- falsely claiming the reporters were acting in a hostile manner. We only know the truth because Manning released a video of the entire event to WikiLeaks.
