The United States Constitution limits the President to two terms. As it stands today, state senators and representatives have no limit to the number of terms they may serve.
Our government does not need the same people year after year after year sitting in these positions. Like the executive branch, the legislative branch should have limits on allowable terms a person may serve.
Senators and representatives are more interested in keeping their seats than doing the work of the People. With term limits this issue would be removed.
The people deserve a government that will work hard to do the job the constitution requires them to do instead of a government that works hard to maintain an elite status quo.
