Set A Definite Term Limit for Congress Members, and Overhaul the Salary and Pension Plans for Congress Members

It is time to overhaul Congress. Congressional members need to have a set term limit of 12 years total, either: A) Two 6-year Senate terms, B) Six 2-year House Terms, or C) One 6-year Senate Term and Three 2-year House Terms. Congressional pay needs to be set equally across the board for all members of Congress, and not based on factors such as seniority or how long a member has served. Pension plans need to be based equally across the board as well, and not based on the number of years of service, age at retirement, and salary. The time has come to put an end to career politicians, and to start clearing up the national deficit.
