We need to have hearings and plans now not only investigating the cause of autism by environmental factors (including vaccines) but to address the immediate issue of housing, care and employment for the coming tide of people with autism who will be aging out of the school systems.
The huge increase in autism started around 1991 - 1994 and so starting this year when the first group is turning 21 and for every year going foward there will be a huge increase in the number of people needing help and assistance.
These hearings must include families and people who are moderately to severely affected by autism so the full need can be known.
