Congress has lived for too long with a detached sense of what it means to live in these United States of America. We the people feel that they should only make a salary equal to the minimum wage for only as long as they are actually in office. No automatic raises other than those that go to minimum wage. No paid vacations, no working from home. It is time for congress to be reigned in and brought back to the people. The only people in congress should be there for the good of all the people, not to fill their own pockets. Congress should also be held liable to the same rules and laws the people of this country must follow. No special exemptions.
