Set laws and regulations and over see and govern Homeowner's Associations.

To develop, enact, and enforce Federal laws that govern Homeowners Associations, Property Owners Associations and Townhouse Associations. There are far too many of these Associations that abuse their athority and far too many States that do not regulate these Associations. They have taken advantage of many homeowners and property owners. These Associations have been known to change their By-Laws, Declarations and even the Articles of Incorporation to suit their needs and do not consider the property owners. Some have violated their own Policies, have turned off water for dues / assessements not being paid, and have even violated their own Conflict of Interest Policy. Many property owners do not stand up because of fear of retaliation. Please help stop this abuse of athority.
