Set a legal precedent clearly defining tobacco smokers as responsible for their part in air quality and health of others

Created by M.K. on October 03, 2011

All people have a fundamental right to be protected from danger. Air quality is a basic determinate of the health of each citizen. Second hand smoke has been determined to be a deadly poison according to medical experts and federal statement. Therefore, smokers pose a serious danger to others.

Smokers must be held responsible for spreading deadly poisons by applying criminal penalties, and others must be protected from this danger. The administration must send a clear message thru the legal system that such behavior is not to be tolerated, and it must also promote legislation to compensate all who are damaged by smokers.

Bans at work and resturants are one thing, but adults and children are at continuing high risk right at home where they spend far more time. We all deserve protection.
