I understand the need for people to be punished for their crimes. But when does the punishment stop? If people wonder why Recidivism Rates are so high, look no further than the fact that a non violent record can stop you from getting a job a decade after the last time you weree in trouble. People want change? Then allow people opportunities to demonstrate change. Allow people to become productive members of society. We will work extremely hard if you let us.
