Political corruption is a fact. It is, however, hard to believe that each individual is 100% corrupt on their own. Politicians reach office through favors and money, no other way. Corrupt coperations and top 1% individuals fund politicians that will keep them at the top, and it is only these politicians that we will ever see in office. Why? Because they feed the candidates that agree to help them millions of dollars, as well as free press and promotion.
This is unacceptable. It is not longer the people's choice who is elected and who is not, it is up to the top 1%. They decide who will run, who will win, and how you hear about it.
It all boils down to money.
By placing a donation cap on campaign contributors, candidates are presented on an infinitely more fair and just level.
