Too many victims are suffering from mental illnesses from rape. Rape is psychological warfare that no one can ever fully recover from. No matter how strong physically or mentally someone is, rape will scar them for life.
When our system fails to protect an innocent child, America needs to take a stand to correct the government and the law where it is not being upheld properly or fairly.
Even at a young age, we know we don't want other people to touch us and we shouldn't do it to others. We know by the age of 5 who we can take our clothes off for. There are no excuses.
