It's no lie- people are living longer and healthier lives. Unfortunately, our nation can barely afford it.
Points:
1. Social security and senior care cost way more than caring for infants.
2. Our population is growing. In less time than we think, it could reach the point where we have even more homeless people than we do now.
3. The younger generation is struggling for jobs and experience. If we eliminate some of the current job-holders, fewer people may be in poverty.
It sounds cruel, yes, but we can't afford having every citizen being able to live forever. We need to set a maximum age... before supplies dwindle and we start enacting the plot of "Soylent Green."
