Set up a mechanism for citizens to put up Syrian refugees.

The USA should admit as many Syrian refugees as possible, and create a mechanism by which refugees can be matched with hosts who are willing to offer space in their homes. Personally inviting the newly arrived refugees would help them assimilate, help the country get a better sense of who is arriving on our shores, and reduce their living expenses while they get on their feet. By signing this petition, I indicate my willingness to open my home to refugees who have been accepted as refugees by the State Department, and provide them with at least 8 weeks of shelter. I hereby request that the State Department do everything it can to harness the charity and generosity of the American people to help as many fleeing people as possible.
