Set in motion legislation to repeal the Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000

Created by J.S. on February 01, 2013

Since 1999 after out going President Clinton signed the Commodities Futures Modernization Act of 2000. Commodities that effect the daily lives of all Americans have been increasingly manipulated by speculation.

Instead of the laws of economics or supply and demand. The latest run up in oil and gasoline price is just another example of unchallenged speculation into these markets.

Speculators never have to take delivery or store the commodities they purchase. Oil and gas futures are then hurting Americans and the world economically .

Repealing this law will reinstate the laws of supply and demand in an open market.
