Today, the gun control topic is very controversial. The consitution states the right to bear arms. However, there are two arguments why that amendment can be considered no longer fully valid. 1. At the time it was written, it took at least 15 seconds to reload each individual bullet, and they wouldn't kill as easily. 2. gun control would only limit gun magazines, and the ability for the mentally ill to have guns. There are many gun massacres today in this nation. Many are killed due to the government's inaction on gun control laws. Not only is this nation affected, but so is Mexico. Its drug cartels get most of their arms from us and get away with it due to lack of regulation and background checks. I urge the Obama administration to take action and stop the violence.
