To set a National Speed limit for all interstates and Hwys.

A national speed limit would not only make our interstates and hwys. safer, but it would also save tax payer money.
There are countries across the globe which have had enourmous success with a National Speed limit. A National Speed limit would reduce accidents caused by the sudden slowing down or speeding up of traffic as travelers cross states lines. A National Speed limit would also reduce the number of speed limit signs required on our interstates and Hwys... as travelers would already know the speed limit. Speed limit signs would "only" be needed in areas where the speed would need to be reduced... such as construction areas or large cities where the interstate or hwy. goes through highly developed commercial or residential areas. In such cases the state would set the speed limit.
