Set a national standard for chess education in public schools.

Created by N.R. on February 11, 2013

Due to the continued failings of the American education system, radical methods need to applied to help the United States climb back to the top spot. Countless studies have been performed showing the mental and social benefits of teaching chess to children. Not to mention, many of the countries that are currently ahead of us have some form of classes that teach abstract thinking.
By teaching our children chess, we will see an improvement in test scores without teaching to a test, fewer fights (as Australia proved), and possibly an increase overall in our children's IQ.
